I want a portable enclosure that I can take into our back yard/back porch for DS 10 mo to play in while I'm nearby.
I would also consider taking down some of our gates (since most of the time they are open) if it was something easy that I could pop him in while I went to the bathroom etc.

We can't enjoy any of our ourdoor space b/c DS is into everything and I want to get outside--and him too!

He is crawling/ walking holding onto things and is a climber.

Any suggestions?

Superyard with extension kit, definitely! I use ours outside quite a bit, and it is really easy to fold up and move.

Superyard for sure! We only have 6 panels, but our friends got a ton of them and actually encircled one of the rooms in their house. The only thing on the outside of the enclosure are the bookshelves and television (and draperies). Inside they have a couple of couches, a chair, a coffee table (that they had there until recently), and a selection of toys that the kids can get to at various times. It works fabulously and it means that the adults can be with the kids at the same time, but they also don't have to worry about the kids wandering off (they have 2 sets of twins now, too!).
