Anyone know a good B&Mstore or website to find a large wall mirror to practice imitation? I'd prefer an animal or fun shape to use as decoration since they seem to be very expensive. TIA Nicole

How big does it need to be? IKEA has one for $16.99 that is a plastic mirror (won't break but it is not very big.

Lakeshore learning has larger ones, but not themed:

I think the problem is that the very large mirrors for adults will be hard to safely attach to a wall so there is no risk it will fall or break. This site has quite a few - I love the dinosaur shaped one, but $$$:

Not a wall mirror or an animal shape (lol!) but I thought of this post today in Buy Buy Baby when I saw the Lamaze My First Mirror - it has soft cloth padded sides and would be the right size for baby to sit down with (or put on the couch so he can stand with) and play.

Our speech therapist brings a small stand mirror, maybe 10 X 12, and we have the door of our defunct medicine cabinet that we take out and prop for supervised play (DD is 2.5).

Best,
Mary

I've been looking for a mirror for the playroom. Thanks to the OP for this thread.

I love the Beguiling Bronto Mirror from the simply mirrors site, it would be perfect. They've got other cute stuff too. Thanks for the link. I did google it and found the Bronto mirror cheaper at other sites. It seemed to be around $40 less at the first couple of websites that popped up.
