I want to order this book that you all raved about for a 4 year old's birthday, but I wanted to send something more with it. I have not seen the inside of it, so I don't know if it talks about an apron, or specific measuring sizes (like tsp or TB), so I don't know if sending an apron and some measuring spoons would be appropriate. Anyone who has the book (or seen it) know of anything that might be fun to send with it? It's only $6 in paperback, so I'd like to send something else with it that's hopefully related. Help?

Here's the link to the book on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0802787673/ref=ed_oe_h/103-0696418-8610227?ie=UTF8

TIA!!

target's *new* toy aisle that has the ryan's room stuff & kitchen stuff has some cute little pots, pans & other cooking accessories that are under $15 that would be a cute addition. i haven't seen the book, but just put it on hold at the library...if i like it, it'll possibly be a present for my 8 yr old neice. i think the book, a pot & lid, slotted spoon or ladle, maybe a kids apron, or a tea set or kid's table setting would be really cute. or a new doll to go along with it. maybe measuring spoons/cups that are cute, i've seen ones that are shaped like hearts.

What a sweet book!

I would suggest a tea set, at 4 I would think one of the sturdy "real china" tea sets would be ok, they usually come in a cute little basket, and the "real" aspect of it makes it that much more enticing for a little girl. Most toy shops seem to carry these, at various price points, but here is the one I got my niece online:

Have fun!
