I'd like to get cute ones for my daughter. There are lots of choices on line and on ebay. Did you all get name letters for kiddos bedrooms, do you like them and where did you get them from? Thanks!

We got some at Michaels for 99 cents per letter, bought paint to match them w/DD's bedding, and tied ribbon on them to hang. We love how they turned out! I can post a pic if you'd like.

I ordered on ebay from the seller tonifrg and am extremely happy with mine. I sent her a swatch of my nursery fabric (umm, I mean DD's nursery fabric ;) ). She matched the letters to the fabric exactly as I requested, and the price isn't bad for hand-painted letters. She has a bunch of fonts and does great work! It does take a while to get the letters, due to the number of orders she has, but it's worth the wait IMO. Here's a pic of ours from when we first hung them:

We got ours from Merry Go Round in Bellevue, WA which is a local seller of baby furniture and gear. I don't remember the brand. When we bought them 2 were baby blue and 1 was pink and one was white. When I did his room up in May/June I spray painted them red. I would suggest getting ones that you like shape wise and then painting them. this is how ours turned out:

I know it is a total trend but I like them!

I was also really pleased with tonifrg...she did a very nice job with my daughter's custom letters from fabric swatches. I can post a picture if you want!

another ebay seller, a different look painted to canvas. you send or tell her what your fabric is and she coordinates to it. I have no personal experience with them, though- just stumbled across them. I also love the look of the of other ebay seller posted.

I got letters from this seller (I think she's also on Ebay, but I don't know her id). I sent her a picture of our room and a link to our bedding (Land of Nod) They turned out beautifully and totally matched DD nursery. I loved them so much that I ordered a set for my nephew. (FYI-It takes a few months to get them.)

I just ordered some from Tayjus last month (hoping they arrive before my DD's birthday later this month!). I'm excited.

For DD2, I got the basic white letters from BRU. They look nice (especially for the price!) although DH was frustrated hanging them because they were not all exactly the same height.

These aren't wooden letters but I love the look of them. They also have great customer service!

I got mine from an Ebay seller who now has her own website. She was amazing to work with, sent me paint/ribbon samples so I could match my bedding and even threw in an extra letter for free since I couldn't decide between Sophie/Sophia to put on the wall. Her website is www.thepittstop.com/kpittdesigns

Here is a pic - you can't tell from this picture, but the sides of the letters are painted the same yellow as the stars.

I bought our first batch at Michaels and painted them. Those are in my son's room and are all capital letters.

The set we got for my daughter are more flouncy letters and were purchased on ebay from seller 'briding'. I have been very pleased with them. He does good work. He was recommended to me by a couple of other gals, so I know he's done well for others as well. Here is his store.

Another vote for Michaels. Bought them for DD's room over a year ago and just went to get some a couple of weeks ago for DS's room. Great value and very easy to make them personalized for your room.

Here you go - I took a close up of one letter so you can see how we did the ribbon. HTH!

I got ours from K-Mart. They come in white, but can be painted any color. They are normally $2.49 each, but they often have 5 for $10 specials.

We have the Capital Wooden Letters in red on my son's wall, and I love them. They have really cute options for girls, too.

I love the Capital Wooden letters!

How did you attach them to the wall?? It says to use
double stick tape or adhesive?? Does that sound right?

That does not work! They include this blue putty and that's a joke!

We did not nail through the letters, but put nails on the outside of the letters in a couple of places, so they are kind of propped up on the nails. They are actually held in very securely. If I can remember, I'll post a picture tomorrow. I think they really make his room!

We have a set from an Ebay seller who is no longer making them and a PBK set. They are simple and I really like them. We used the 3M picture hanging strips to attach our letters to the wall. They show yellow strips on the website but they had white at our local Target. These are great because you can adjust the letters if necessary once on the wall since the sides of the strip that attach to each other are a velcro-type material, not an adhesive. My husband was in charge of making sure they were level and evenly spaced!
