Heh, heh, I never thought this would make a good toy, but we got one of those double pumps from Walmart ($10) to pump up her swimming pool and other blow-up things. Right now, with the weather being 99 degrees, we haven't been going outside. So she is sitting in the middle of living room with one of her floatation devices (three blow-up spouts) and pumping it up and then pumping it down (it has a reverse-direction for the hose to quickly deflate your devices). Don't ask me why it's so fascinating for her, but she's definitely amusing herself so I'm not complaining! :)

Eileen,

DS does the same thing! Well, actually he just "pumps" at nothing - he'll stand and pump for a good 10 minutes! It is a favorite toy! LOL! In fact, his newest thing to do with it is the use it to blow a breeze on mommy (it is really hot here too). Enjoy the new toy!
