People are asking what to get DD. But we have tons of toys and books from her 4year old brother. We really don't need anything. What should I say? Is there some great toy for a 2 year old that we missed out on?

I always say that money for her college fund is appreciated greatly. Then I say that she loves books and art supplies (of which I am a believer you can never have too many of!). When she is a bit older I also plan to toss in things like dance lessons or t-ball lessons, or a kid-friendly magazine, etc (we don't live close enough to any major zoos or museums for memberships to those.) HTH!

I would say maybe Gift cards, savings bonds, clothes, zoo/museum memberships, arts and crafts supplies (you can always use new paper, paint, brushes, washable crayons and markers, sidewalk chalk). How about some girly dress-up clothes? I just bought these get ups for all of my nieces!!!!

I hear you though..... with a 2nd child they don't NEED much at least in the way of toys and books!

HTH's you!

Geo Trak trains?
Little People things?
BALLS of all kinds?
Art and craft stuff?- do you have an easel?
Riding toy of some sort?
Music?
New DVD's?

Funny, I can come up with ideas for you, but not for DS turning 1!
