DIY toy storage ideas

I've got a piece of wood that's probably 14 inches wide by 7 feet long that left over from a molding project. I would like to cut it up and make some shelves to hang on DD's bedroom walls to store toys, but I am looking for some inspiration. Has anyone here ever tackled a do-it-yourself toy storage project? Any ideas on layout of the shelves? Or any other ideas of what I can do with this wood?
