Also, is this appropriate for a 2 and 4 year old...would a 5 year old use it too? I had a bouncy horse I loved as a child and think this seems like a good alternative.

We, unfortunately, spent full price on our Rody Horse (but got it locally, so no shipping). If you are not sold on name-brand, then Target carries a knockoff in the sports/fitness section where they have yoga stuff.

SIL got one for DD before she turned 2. At that point it did not get much use. She's played with it more over time. My 5yo nephew did play with it but I have no idea if it was just the novelty of the toy because he doesn't have one at home.
