Scissors!

I am looking for some training scissors for my toddler. Any brands and where I can find them would be GREATLY appreciated.

Try Michaels, TRU, a drugstore, Target or Staples.

We like Fiskars at Target. We have the blunt-tip kind. Here's their website. http://www.fiskarsschool.com/tools/scissors/default.aspx They have blunt-tip plastic-blade preschool scissors, as well, which are safer but harder to cut with. The website also lists My First Fiskars that have a spring-like mechanism, but I've never tried them.

I am pretty sure I bought my blunt kids scissors in the dollar store - Dollar Tree to be exact.

I have used those "my first fiskars" and they are great. I would highly recomend them!!!!

I just bought a pair of the first Fiskars from the TAPS store which are spring loaded and can be used either left handed or right.

DD's were titanium scissors from Office Max (Fiskars, I think). They are awesome & she loved learning to cut with them. I paid a couple dollars more for the slightly better ones & I do think they cut better.
