Any suggestions? I searched online and on Wilton but can't locate a cake pan shaped as a large three. I want to "attempt" to make a 3 into a race track...

Can't help you with the "3" cake pan, but I have had the local bakery make a sheet cake with the Vegas strip on it. They made the street and I added the items to represent the various casinos. I bet a local bakery could make a simple race track for you, if the cake pan doesn't turn up.

How about two round cakes? Cut of a small edge of each, butt them together, and then ice it to look like a figure-8 instead of a snow-man?

I'm sure DC will love it, however you accomplish it!

I know it's not the number 3, but we made this cake for Reed's 3rd bday and it was a huge hit!!

A ha! This could work! Was it hard?

Each birthday I plan to make DS's cake then the morning of the party I'm asking myself, "why???" :)
