Waited too long: LE junior backpacks gone!

Oh, I'm so bummed! I really wanted to get the junior backpacks from LE for my two boys for school. They still have the junior ergo, but it's getting expensive for a kids' pack and also my older son wanted red.

They are backordered until Nov., so forget about it.

I wanted these over the LL Bean packs because they have 2 compartments as well as bottle holders on the sides. I know the LL Bean packs are popular, but does anyone miss these features?

Or, if anyone is near and inlet and sees these, can you let me know? I'd be happy to pay for shipping, etc. Thanks so much!

Have you tried Sears? They have lots of LE stuff in the store. Good Luck!

I bought the backpack at the children's place...they have bottle holders I believe. I'll pull it out and give it a really good look if you're interested.

children's place has a "baby backpack" that is a little smaller than the LE jr, and comes with 3 compartments (big one in back, center one has pencil holders & pockets, also pretty big, & the front one is supposed there to hold a lunch bag or snacks or something) and it has mesh bottle holders on both sides of the bag. all in all it's a GREAT backpack and it was only $15! we LOVE ours, i got both ds's one and we pack one up for charlie for school & the other one that's max's gets packed for overnighters or to grandmas till he goes to school! but for boys it only comes in 2 colors
