Nooooooooooooooooooo!

That has got to be one of E's favorite toys. :( I guess a repair kit isn't so bad (I thought it was a bring-it-back-to-the-store kind of recall). He has started putting a lot more things (mainly blocks and socks) down the chute lately....

Thanks for the info. I too am glad I won't have to return the whole unit. Wonder what the repair will be.

I remember reading one of the Amazon reviews where someone mentioned that their baby's arm got stuck. Since its only resulted in minor scrapes and bruises, I don't think I'll put the toy away.

Looks like a cap for the tube.... which kind of makes a big part of the toy useless. I would see if they offer you any compensation when you call for the kit.

Maybe it's just a continuation of the plastic piece on top of where the ball rolls? That would prevent little arms from getting stuck, but would still let the toy be usable. And I could see them calling it a cap.

I just called for my kit and was told the piece will block the balls from going down the chute. They also said that once the fix is installed, it cannot be uninstalled.

Did they offer any compensation?

No offer, but I also did not ask.

Thanks for posting this. I was thinking on getting this for my son for Christmas. But I think I will stick with the Leap Frog Table

Well thats a bummer if it prevents balls from going down the shoot. It would render a major part of the center useless so they should offer some compensation to people who would rather return the center.

My DS hasn't really figured out the ball shoot yet but it really irks me about the repair.
