This just might be the stupidest question ever... but DD's MLP hair is OUT OF CONTROL!!! I am thinking that the repeat trips to the YMCA for swim lessons this summer put it over the top. Any tips for taming the little stallion’s mane? Products? Blow-out? :D

I used DD's JandJ no more tears tangle free spray on stuff. It comes in a green bottle for about $3. Just spray the MLP hair liberally and then comb out.

Try fabric softener. That is what Barbie collectors use on Barbie hair. It's not like human hair, it is basically strands of plastic, so you want something that will coat the strands and that is exactly what fabric softener is designed to do.

Soak it in diluted fabric softener if it isn't too bad, or straight if it is all matted. Comb it out while wet, starting at the bottom and working the tangles out. Rinse when done.
