Do the pedals lock? I'm thinking they don't. That that was one of the features that differed from the Kettler to the Kiddio, maybe? We have the Kiddio (so you'd think I'd know, but I'm very bad at that sort of thing). I don't think they lock, but DS is having a hard time when the parent steers but the pedals go round and round. Just figured I'd ask.

TIA!

The ones on our model don't lock, but I can't say if that's true for all of them.

Our Kiddio Supertrike 4 wheels do not lock. DS got his trike at 2, so it was never a problem for him (he could figure out to keep his feet out of the way fairly well at that point).

I forget, but if you "wheelie" it using the pushbar, I don't think the pedals turn? I think this is what DH does if he's pushing DS really fast on it (I'm not so much up to that task these days LOL).

I do believe that is one of the major differences between the Kettler trikes and the Kiddio trikes.

Thanks, that what I thought, just thought I would make sure.

Yep, we did exactly what Beth suggested--do wheelies. But Kaya also didn't start using it until around 20 months or so. At 2.5 she can pedal herself around, except when going uphill.
