How do you wash playsilks?

He loves these things so I don't want to ruin them. Can I throw them in the washing machine? I'm assuming gentle cycle/cold water as I do tons of stuff that way anyway. Can I use regular detergent or do I have to use Woolite? Or do they have to be handwashed?

I've thrown ours in the wash before on gentle cycle/cold water and then air dry. I used regular detergent.

Mine are from Bumbershoot Baby, and occasionally get tossed into the regular wash (warm, hot dry), not on purpose. Luckily, they've all emerged unscathed. Gentle is probably a good idea, but just in case, mine haven't been harmed by harsher washing methods.
