hi everyone,

Making a rare trek to Costco. I'd like to get some toys or other things for ds, like an aquadoodle ( Do they still have that?)

What other toys or deals should I look for?

Thanks!

Who are you shopping for? What ages? I haven't seen the aquadoodle lately but they have a bunch of new stuff.

I love and want to get a collapsible tunnel set they have. It runs about $25.

Hmmm-not sure how old your son is but we love the Ryan's Room tent/tunnnel combo pp mentioned and the Learning Resources set of sorting cupcakes, number cookies and color ice cream cones. Great for pretend play and sneaking a little learning in too. (20.00ish) www.learningresources.com They are under early skill development. Each set is usually about 12-15.00.

Big ticket item is the train table. We have one from last year and love it. I also noticed a seperate Thomas the Train set too. I am no expert on those so not sure that is a great deal or not. Maybe one of our Thomas afficiandos can respond. :)

The aquadoodle I haven't seen recently but you may still find them at your Costco.

They have a lot of new books too- I found a six pack of Golden Books a few weeks ago. They also have the new pop up by Maurice Sendak.

Oh and the tumbling mat by Alex is about 35.00 and is great for indoor roughhousing and tumbling.

I am sure there are a lot more- I also love dress up trunk- but I think they only have a princess theme so far this year.

Happy Shopping!!

It might be a little old for your DS but we picked up this Lego City passenger plane last week for $29 which was a pretty good deal because the lego store at Downtown Disney had the same thing for $50. http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=7893&cn=242&d=36&t=3. My DS loves it - and even sleeps with it! He only has it in his room though as there are a lot of small parts that I need to keep DD from getting into.

oops! sorry, forgot to mention that my ds is 18mo. Thanks for these great suggestions! The train set/table sounds promising, and all the books too. Tumbling mat sounds like a great deal and something he can use for a while....

Keep the suggestions comin!

They also have a Kidcraft play kitchen that includes a separate refridgerator and stove/sink combination that is retro pink for about $150. We gave it to my daughter for her birthday yesterday and she loves it!

They also had a cute little people vehicle set that we picked up for Christmas.

There is a very cute finger puppet theater, less than $20. It comes with 4 finger puppets and a stage in either circus or castle theme.
