I am just wondering if I should bother buying a new wooden kitchen now at their ages? We have a yard sale $5 plastic one but it isn't very realistic. I am thinking it may be nice to have a more realistic one now... What age do you think most kids (who like kitchens) will play with it until?

I have an almost 4 year old DS and am buying a wood kitchen for christmas (to be fair I also have a younger DS as well). I wasn't sure but asked his preschool teacher who said DS loves to play with the kitchen at school. I know a lot of kids here have kitchens from young ages, but DS didn't start a lot of imaginative play until he was 3, so I think it would be good for older kids as well. My mom claims that me and my sisters played with our wood kitchens for years and years. That being said, I spent about $200 so I wouldn't feel to badly if the fun only lasts a couple of years.
