Can anyone recommend a good quality baby doll stroller? I looked at the two strollers at PBK, but they are quite $$$ and the Mini Zooper stroller was falling apart. I really would like to find a good quality, safe, baby doll stroller that's under $100. Thanks for your help!

For the way my son played with it (pushing stuffed animals around) I have no qualms with a simple Graco doll stroller from TRU. It was probably all of like $10.

This is a cute looking Chicco one from Target:

We got a Maclaren doll stroller that Jonathan loves. He really loads that thing up, too, so it's taken a beating. It folds like an umbrella stroller and is quite lightweight. I think I paid around $20 - I think $100 was my limit for a stoller for Jonathan, not for his toys!

We have the mini zooper (pink) from PBK and it has been fabulous, indoors and out. I don't know if by "falling apart" you mean the fabric? I've seen kids in the store pull the fabric so it's hanging off in hard use before, but my DD does not do that at home. It's easy to fix and I'm glad that the seat fabric is connected the way it is so that it won't rip if a kid does pull on it - it just lets go. It folds flat and stores behind the sofa.

FWIW, my 30 lb DD walks HERSELF around the house in this stroller (sits in it and walks her feet) so I have to say it's pretty sturdy.

It's also taller than our neighbor's Maclaren, which would be too short for DD now (she's turning 3, neighbor is turning 2). She has to stoop to reach the handles. So if you go with a Mac (and they are really nice), make sure you get one of the taller ones if you want it to last - from my research last year I believe there are several models, even though they look similar online/in catalogs.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info. on the zooper. Yes, the model at PBK had the fabric coming off of it. I am sure a million kids have abused it, but it didn't look that great when we saw it so I was a little afraid to purchase it. Thanks again!

I read the awesome idea of using a *real* umbrella stroller on here. DD got it as a gift last year for Xmas but it was a $10 cheapie stroller from Target or a like store.

It was a little tall for DD last year but fits her pretty well now at 2.5YO. She pushes DS around the house in it. I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable doing that with a doll stroller for safety reasons.

Hth.

I am looking for one similar to the one PBK used to sell if anyone remembers it. Sorry I can't find a picture.

For your information, the Nova Natural (which I happen to like best from the looks of it) is listed in their catalog for 10 dollars cheaper. I'm just letting you know because perhaps they will honor that price.

Actually, they have a disclaimer on the website about that. The catalog price is wrong.
