Looking for a good toy/kids xylophone and other musical instruments

DD loves to play on xylophones, from the plastic doggie little tikes one to nicer wooden models. I'd love to know which ones are best, sound good and hold up well, etc.

This will be a holiday gift for a 3 year old.

Any other recs as to where to get musical instruments (bongos, ukelele (!) etc.) appreciated too!
