Anyone know if one exists? I sat down at the computer last night to post this question and "poof" out went the lights. We live in the boonies and we frequently lose power. Jack loves his nightlights in his room. I would so love to find something like this so that I don't have to fret about him waking up in a pitch black room. TIA.

Not a nightlight, but would one of these work? It only goes on in case of a power failure.

It's expensive but maybe there's a cheaper one out there. Our local elder services center provides these for seniors in case of a power failure.

HTH!

I bought some power failure lights (GE I think) at Home Depot for around $8-10. I can't find them online. They have a little red light that stays on.
