DH insists that DD is too big for her Kettler Jumbo because even with the frame adjusted to its maximum length, DD cannot fully extend her legs when pedaling. I don't agree. I don't think a tricycle is supposed to be sized like a bicycle so that you fully extend your legs when you push the pedal out to the furthest point. It's not as if she is sitting at the tricycle with her knees up by her ears. She is tallish, 38" at 3 yrs, but I really cannot believe she's outgrown this trike at this point. I think the problem DH sees is really that she is not coordinated enough to ride it herself without assistance, not that she needs a bigger trike.

Whaddya think?

We have the Air Navigator so I don't know how that compares in size to the Jumbo. Noah is about 39.5 - 40" tall and we still have the trike on the smaller setting.
