Or are these meant for outside? Just curious since DD is turning one around Christmas and we might pick one up. If they are for outside only, I will wait until summer (we are in the NE). I am talking about the small ones like the RF rocket, etc.

My ds is 4yo and still rides his around the house all the time. I was a bit worried about the floors at first (hardwood) but they haven't shown a single mark.

If you have the space and it is ok for your floors then I wouldn't see why you couldn't use it inside. Just keep away from stairs, obviously. :)

My boys use theirs in the house. We have a large collection because they fight over them. With all the use they get, I don't recall ever seeing any damage done by them.

My DDs ride little cars around inside all the time. They bang into the walls (and each other) from time to time, but otherwise it's not a problem. We live in New England, and there are times during the winter when we REALLY need to be able to do this stuff inside! ;)

We have several and they are used in the house. We have carpet but it hasn't hindered DS in any way.

We have a bunch- scooters, trikes, cars, etc. All in the house. I put them in the basement playroom so I wouldn't have to have stair concerns. :-) Glad I am not alone, lol!!!

We use our RF rocket indoors only, in the basement, on carpet, along with the other ones. Nupe

with charlie we used the ride on till it hit summer and then he dragged it outside. max now has a ride on that he got for his bday and it will stay inside for the time being, seeing that it has buttons that make noise and stuff it will probably STAY inside since we have TONS of outdoor ride-ons & power wheels.

We have a Kettler push car/ride-on (with storage in the seat) that Kaya uses only inside the house. With wooden floors and area carpets there haven't been any problems with scuff marks or anything like that.

We use all our ride-on toys in the house. He loves to push them all around. Sometimes he hits the walls and furniture, butit keeps him busy!
