I was thinking of ordering the books but was wondering if anybody has them. If you do, do you like the books or not?

TIA!

I have them and here's what I like:

1) they are very sturdy (over-sized board books)
2) pictures are good and clear and it's pretty easy to understand the motion of the sign (which in some sign language books is hard)
3) reinforces what DS sees in the videos

The only thing I can think of that I don't like is that I'm pretty sure not all of the signs in the videos are in the books (I might be wrong about this....I'd have to doublecheck).

I think it's easier for kids to learn from the videos since they see the action, but as an adjunct to the videos I think they're nice...and again I like that they "match" so DS understands that there's a connection. When we look at the books together I will demonstrate the signs for him.
