My DD is 5 going on 25, and her current interest is astronomy. She has a couple of model solar systems, we have planet window cling stickers, we have books about space, etc...now she really wants a telescope.
I want to get her one for Christmas, and I'd like it to be simple enough for her to use, but also durable enough to last for a while - not a cheezy plastic toy one, in other words.
Anybody have one that they like? It will be her big Christmas gift, and while I don't want to spend $500, it doesn't have to be super cheap. Thanks!
