I just cannot find what I'm looking for. I really want a wood easel for dd where the dry erase board is magnetic too. I think the Crayola one has this, but I was really hoping for wood. Does anyone know if there is one out there? TIA for any advice!

I have been looking at easels too. I know the Alex one has a magnetic side, but it is more expensive and I haven't seen any deals on it. The Costco one looks great, but it is not magnetic. Does anyone have these easels that can comment on them? Also, how important is magnetic?

I'd really like a wooden one but haven't seen the perfect one yet so I got this one at marshalls for $30 and change.

I LOVE that it's adjustable and you can hold the supplies in the tray as well as magnetic. Haven't opened it yet but I'm looking forward to using it w/the kids. And the fact that it folds is always nice

ETA: found some reviews from Targets site

We just got the Lakeshore (www.lakeshorelearning.com) 4 in 1 easel from my MIL for dd 2nd b-day. It is a little heavy and big, but I think it will get years of use. It is made really well and has all the features you are looking for. Here is the link:

I think our easel is perfect, well almost. ;) Both sides are dry erase and magnetic. The boards can either be mounted verticaly or horizontally and can be switched easily. The base is wood. There are removable wells on both sides to hold supplies.
I wish there was somehow a blackboard incorporated. I wish it was a bit lighter.

Little Tikes has a really nice wood easel... Looks like a piece of furniture!!

You can also look at "Discount School Supply" (www.discountschoolsupply.com) they sell easels that schools use.

Don't you love the magnets? Wow, they are strong. I actually called them and placed an order for a whole bag of them. We use them all over the house.

We have this one:

Honestly Im not sure if its magnetic, I thought it was! I didnt check though. It works great, and I love that its adjustable for height.
