Play silks I ordered on sale from Thai Silks

Some of you seemed interested, so after some research on the board, etc, I decided to order and thought I'd share. I purchased a total of 24 silks for about $50 (pre tax/shipping), 7 of which were pre-dyed and the rest I'll dye myself with Koolaid. There was an added $4 of tax and $4 of shipping. If you're outside CA there is no tax. I got alot of the 22x22 because I'm thinking of dying them as a party favor for my daughter's birthday.

Habotai Scarves (play silks) already dyed - tried to stick with the colors that I thought would be difficult to create with Koolaid -

36x36 - total of 4 in red, royal blue, marigold, eggplant / 4.10 each

9x54 - total of 3 in iris, royal purple, rose (to make streamer magic wands like these http://www.willowtreetoys.com/product/SS1100!) / 2.00 each / 2.70 for rose


Habotai Scarf blanks (white) to dye myself with Koolaid -

22x72 - total of 2

22x22 - total of 15

I just LOVE the streamer wand idea. Have you decided how you are going to make yours? I would love to know how to do it...where to get the "wand" and how you are going to attach it, etc. Very creative idea! Thanks for posting. Heather
