I seem to remember a friend having a red ridinghood/wolf one when I was little. Do kids like these? Would this make a good gift?

After a quick Web search I found this this site has several styles:

I had the Little Red Riding Hood one when I was little, hence my dd has one. ;) She plays with it here and there. I have yet to find a storybook version of LIttle Red Riding Hood that is not scary so she only has a vague idea of the story. I think if she knew the story she sould play with it more.

ETA: They are few dollars less through Amazon. I am not sure how it works out with the shipping. I like Little Miss Muffet and Cinderella.

I saw this in a christmas craft fair ages ago and I regret not getting one. I wonder if we can get a coop or find them cheaper. They're so cute and the concept is awesome.

ETA: LOOK how cute these are!

The website mentioned above - petitetica.com - now has the topsy turvy dolls 20% off!

Has anyone here ever ordered from them before? I have my shopping cart ready to go but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them first...

I had the Little Red Riding Hood doll when I was little and I loved it, but can't answer about today's children. I would think a girl would like it if she was into dolls and nursery rhymes/fairy tales.

A co-op would be awesome! I would definitely be in for one.

if that doesn't work, B&N if you are a member and go through ebates is under 18/doll --and you can get free shipping if you buy two

and there is a 25% coupon in the bargains section that works on one doll

I had one when I was little. It was a gift from my great aunt and I loved it.
I'll have to get dd her own though. Mine would be innappropriate today, and was actually pretty inappropriate back then, I now realize.
I'd be in for a co-op.

Have received no responses from the company. I assume the holiday season has them fairly busy. So maybe I can try again after the holidays. Maybe good for Easter baskets??

But pp did list some good deals on these dolls (B&N, and 20% off) if anyone wants one for Christmas.
