Favorite Racetrack (Darda?), Garage, and PLAYHOUSE for two active boys

My boys, ages 3.9 and 20 months are OBSESSED with all things cars and vehicles...I want to get DS1 a race track - considering a Darda one since it seems a bit more open-ended than some of the others. And I'd like to get DS2 a garage since he ADORES playing with cars, etc. I know the Plan one is a great deal on kidsurplus, but is it sturdy enough? My kids are NOT gentle with their toys! And is the scale good for both matchbox-sized cars as well as the new M+D wooden vehicles (that are nice as they fit on train tracks).

Also, I'm thinking about a big playhouse for our basement (to encourage them to do something besides play with cars) - any favorites? The new Little Tikes one looks cute as it has different scenes on different sides. And I need something STURDY.
