I've been reading the posts about hook on chairs. It seems a lot of people like to take them to restaurants, but we'll mainly be using ours on the kitchen island where the bar stools go. I've read so many things about the Me Too! chair being good and portable. Is it the best for my situation too? What do you recommend for a large (18+ pounds at 5 months) baby at home on a tip-proof island? The things I'm most concerned about are scratching my countertops, and baby being comfortable while I cook. Thanks!

I really liked the Me Too chair the best. I have used it in many situations and never had it scratch a counter top or leave any impressions on a table. We kept ours permanently attached to our butcher block bar table and it was very secure and I think had the highest weight limit of all the ones I checked out at the time (35 lbs). It is also exceptionally easy to clean as you can just unhook it and it is small enough to soak the entire chair in the sink and then let it airdry after. Also great if you need a highchair for traveling. We took a plan trip with it because we were going to be in one destination for about a week, in a hotel with a suite/kitchenette style room. I hooked the chair onto the desk/table in the hotel room and used it as my dd's highchair that whole week. It was perfect!
