I'm making myself nuts looking for these! You know those cheapy little plastic kids chairs with arms? Who sells them? I've looked at 3 different Walmarts, Toys R Us (who had pink Dora ones, but I want plain, preferably red and/or blue) several $ stores, and 2 Targets with no luck.

The closest thing I've found was a blue Cars one with no arms for $15. I wouldn't have a problem paying $15 if I actually liked it, but I hate spending that on something I'm going to get annoyed looking at, kwim?

I think they are more of a seasonal thing. You'll proabably find a bunch when they start bringing out the "outdoor" stuff this spring.

well it took me forever to find them, so you're not alone. you have to google for kids _resin_ chair or armchair, not plastic chair. syroco seems to be the brand most places carry - no one i could find would give you a choice of color - but lots of places have them. here ya go...

ace has some others, but you have to buy a 12 pack or get one that's more adorondak looking....

If you can do without the arms, this is a good chair from The Container Store:

We also have some of the kind with arms, and these are a lot more stable and sturdy.

You guys are awesome!!! Now why didn't I ask last week?!? All of the ones you all posted are perfect- any one of them would work, but even with expedited shipping, none of them would make it in time for Christmas. :( If worst comes to worst, I'll still order them after the holidays though, so thanks a million. :)

Lori, I would never in a million years have thought to search for resin instead of plastic- which I googled at least 5 seperate times.

We do have an Ikea nearby, but it is a pretty long drive with traffic, so I'll keep that idea as a backup. Ditto The Container Store.

For those who saw them at the dollar store, was it a particular chain of dollar stores? I've tried two Dollar Trees, and one other random dollar store with no luck.

It was not a Dollar Tree - it was a random dollar store (not even sure of the name!) in North Haven, Connecticut!

LOL, guess that's not going to happen then.

I'm wondering if Big Lots would be worth a shot...
