DS has the Step 2 Deluxe Kitchen and several wooden food sets. Not all of the food fits in the kitchen along with pots and pans and I'm wondering if others have the same issue and what they do about it other than the obvious of rotating sets (seems a bit much trouble to do that).

TIA!

We keep it in the fridge and on the shelves that are built into her kitchen, but I know not all have shelves above the sink/stove area.

Maybe you could keep a basket or container full on top of the fridge?

we don't have a kitchen yet, lol, but we have pots and pans and food. we store them in big plastic storage bins like all the other toys. there is just one for cooking cs one for trucks, etc.

Since the kitchen is in dd's bedroom, we just keep the extra food and whatnot in the bottom dresser drawer. :)

We use these Sterilite drawers (I got them at Walmart) on wheels in our little kitchen. Food goes in one drawer, utensils/plates in another, and pans/mixers/misc in the other.
