View Full Version : ikea easel clips?

We purchased the Ikea easel and paper roll. The paper seems really loose. Are we threading it wrong? We went up from the top and pulled over the white board, then tucked it through the bottom slit. Are there clips that work for it? There were no clips in the package. Or is paper just looser on easels, and still perfectly fine to paint/draw on, than I might envision in my perfectionist ways?

TIA.

I have no idea what the 'right' way is but we bring it up through the slit in the bottom of the white board and then let it roll over the top and down the chalk board side. I use wooden clothes pins to clip the paper on top so it lies fairly flat for DD to draw/paint.

I also used packing tape to attach a plastic cup to the blackboard side to hold chalk and a small eraser.

Anyway, not sure if this is "right" but it's what works here. :)

Thanks! I will try rethreading and some clothes pins now. Thanks also for the tip on the plastic cup.
