Ikea Expedit system for clothing?

Is anyone using the Ikea Expedit system for their kids' clothing? I don't have room for a furniture piece in my son's room, so I have the Expedit system in his walk in closet for toys. I can stack another onto this and use it for his clothing (which are still in my room and I need the space). I was thinking of perhaps using it with the Lekman storage boxes that you can buy in Ikea. Are they like drawers? Do you think it's feasible to use it for clothing?
