2.4 ghz monitors and wireless router interference???

I am researching monitors and I wanted one that has a very long range so I can be outside watching my older children play in the summer while my baby naps inside.

In researching I've found that of course the 2.4ghz monitors have the longest range but that also there might be interference with our wireless router which runs on the same frequency. My dad told me the router shoud automatically find a clear band to work off of.

Has anyone had experience with having both your 2.4 ghz monitor and your router working fine together or has it proven to interfere?

electronic thing imaginable. We both have high tech jobs, and I think it comes with the territory. We have a digital monitor and really like it.

I have a video monitor that works on 2.4 mhz and we haven't had any problems with it effecting our router. Good luck.

thanks, what's a digital monitor? can you direct me to a brand name, etc? thanks! Also, what's the range on it?
