I have a boy who LOVES to pound on stuff. I was thinking about getting one of those toys that you hit a ball with a hammer? I know that I have seen them around, but am not sure what they are called, or what terms to do a search with...If anyone has a clue what I'm talking about: can you recommend one thay you're especially happy(or unhappy!) with? Also, if anyone has any further ideas of toys that promote happy, healthy hitting, please tell (he already has a drum, and lots of pots and pans...). Thanks!

I like the one the PP showed where the balls stay in. It's on my list for the next one. We have a Discovery Toys boat one and it is great, but the balls are easily lost (you can buy more, but what a pain)

We also have one of the wooden peg ones and the pegs do come out which means they also can get lost.

I know I've seen the plastic one I think you are talking about in Learing Express- it was about $14.00. However, I think the wood ones PP showed look far more fun!

I just saw the wood peg one that the pp showed at Marshalls
for only $7.99 - it is Melissa & Doug brand.
