Looking for a Thomas Carrying Case

I saw this at TRU back in Dec and didn't buy it because DS was with me. I want to find it for his birthday but can't find it anywhere and am having no luck online.

It is a case that opens and holds trains. It has tracks on the outside. When it is open flat, the track is an oval and you can run the trains on it. When it is closed, it is the right height to add a ramp and use on the train table. It is not the tin case.

You guys are fantastic at finding things. Anyone have an idea??

I saw that at TRU a few months ago also--the case is a TRU exclusive. Toysrus.com calls it the "Play and Go Storage Box" (but the label says "Play & Go Carry Case).

If you get it, I'd love to hear what you think of it! The blue clasps seemed a little flimsy, but I like the concept of a multi-purpose case. We have the canvas case, but rarely use it.

Thank you! I searched the TRU site (using the Search feature) for a variety of things and it never came up. Crazy.

I'm thinking it'll be nice to take for things like DD's doctor appointments when I struggle to keep DS in the room! I wish it was cheaper though.

I think they only recently added it to the website, because I came across it accidentally, while searching for something else! I wish it weren't so expensive, too.

If you're not averse to plastic, the TOMY "Bring Along Thomas" playset is nice for travel or doctor's appointments. It's very compact. I bought it when we had to fly to the midwest to visit family, and it entertained DS quite well. The bell in the clock tower rings, and the wind-up Thomas really zips around the track. I've seen it at my local TRU, but can't find it on the website.

I see the Bring Along Thomas set all the time at TJ Maxx so be on the lookout. I got one for my twins there about a year or so ago.

I've seen this at WalMart too recently.

We have this too, and it *IS* great to travel with, but be aware that with your DD being almost the same age as my DS2, the pieces are tiny and new-crawlers go right for them, and into the mouth!

I also wanted this case but I just can't justify the $40 price tag so I decided not to get it. Then, today I was on babycenter.com and they have a printable for $5 off $25 at Toys R Us. So me and my shopping problem are off to TRU today to pick one of these up.
