Fisher Price Private Connection (dual monitors) - constant beeping noise when charging??

I'm charging my FP Private Connection monitor receivers for the first time, and they are both beeping constantly... please tell me it doesn't do this every time you charge them, otherwise we won't be able to keep them in our room at night! It's incredibly annoying. Am I doing something wrong? I can't seem to find any help online. Thanks,

If the piece that goes in your child's room is not turned on, I think the receivers beep to alert you. Try turning that on and see if the receivers still beep.
