Anyone know where to get a good deal on a dog shaped cake pan? We are looking for one for DD's birthday party.

I would try Michael's (or the like). They should have a variety of Wilton cake pans. Use a 40 or 50% off coupon and they are a pretty good deal. I know Wilton makes a 101 Dalmation pan, as well as a generic puppy pan. Good luck!

Not a dog shaped cake pan, but a cute idea for a dog bowl

here's a dog bone pan

this last one is a dog...pretty cute I think

I went to a "puppy party" a while ago and it was really cute. They had dogbone shaped cookies for the kids to decorate and puppys that came to visit.

Good luck,
Ella

Thanks for the suggestion. Michael's only has scooby doo and I was hoping to find more of a generic dog. There is an old Wilton puppy one that is adorable, but right now I only see it on ebay and I need it for next weekend!

Sometimes if you contact the seller, they will put a Buy it now option on the listing for you. If you had them ship it Priority, you should be able to get it in time.

Look at the round one- if you get desperate, maybe that would work.

I have used my Easter "Lamb cake" pan as a dog before (just slice off the lamb ears) It came out so cute, I wish I had I picture here at work I could attach, but anyway, I made it look like our yellow lab - I made a long icing tail that wrapped around the body and icing ears. Maybe you can find one on Easter clearance?
HTH,
Jen

PS - I've also used the lamb to make a cat too, just move the ears to the top of the head...
