I had a thought last year that I would take the previous year's DADDY pics and update only the last 4. The following year, just the last 3. And so on. So, after 5 years, DH will have a progression collage of DS from baby to big kiddo. And if we have another kiddo along the way, I'd add the second kiddo to the mix.

However, DH took the frame to work last year and put it up on his wall. He absolutely adores it. So, I don't think I can ask him to bring it home for rework.

So, my question is, do you get a new frame every year? If so, what do you do with the previous frame (save it for the following year?). If not, how do you handle it?

I do not get a new frame. DH just knows this is an annual thing so he complies and brings me the frame, lol. What I ended up doing is replacing all the pics each year, and then when we eventually get through the 5th year, I'll go back and do the chronological progression. I did it your way (replacing just he last 4 with updated pictures) but it looked sort of funny to me, although that is probably just my weird OCD tendency that everything needs to match.

Lol. Im the same way. That is a great idea...wait until the 5th year (save the photos) and do a progression shot. I *love* it.

Thanks :).

We started a Father's day scrapbook. I get two copies of the photos--one for the album and one for the frame. The album will have a page for every year (starting from 2).

I'm buying a bunch of frames. I know I won't have the heart to replace old pictures. I'm such a sap! I posted a deal where you can get them for $13.50-code+shipping. here:
