house numbers

we need to get numbers to put on our house. any ideas where i should look???

I got mine at Restoration Hardware.

Do you have an Expo near you? They have a lot of good options. So does Lowes.

Otherwise, are you looking for individual numbers or the plaque version that you can attach to your house (or put on your lawn)?

Go to Home Depot, buy some numbers, and screw them in! That simple!

ETA: Put them where they can be seen at night. My sister's builder put the house #s in a place where no light shines (for some reason they didn't install many outdoor lights on those homes)--not good if you need an ambulance at 2 a.m!

Oops. Yes, for simple numbers, go to any hardware store.

For some reason I read the original post as looking for more decorative solutions. :)

i think i am looking for both.. i definitly need some for my house. dh volunteers for the firestation/emt.. and he has such a hard time finding homes. so that is a must but while i am searching why not be decorative.. thanks for the suggestions
