teacher gifts: saltwalter canvas shower bags

what do you think of shower bags with gel and scrub in them? Do you think non BBBers will understand what to do with a Saltwalter bag?

I think that would be a fun gift.

An alternative would be making it a pool/beach/lake bag. You could put in sunscreen, lip stuff, one of those new nalogen bottles....

I think that's a nice gift for younger teachers. I also really like the beach bag idea - the Saltwater bags are nice practical outdoor bags, so putting in sunscreen, etc could be fun.

IMO, most people are pretty particular about soaps and stuff. But the bag itself sounds like a great idea (although I too do not know what a saltwater bag is).

i have one of the shower bags, and its really cute, but probably more useful for college kids who are traveling to and from the bathroom. we already have a rack in the shower for supplies, so the bag is really not necessary.

instead i put my garden tools inside!

so there are other possible uses for them, but i would think a pool bag would be more useful!!

I think it is a fabulous idea!!

I may go with the 'beach' theme like another poster mentioned.

I'm not a bath person and I have never used the gels, scrubs, loofahs, etc. Plus, I am
very picky about my scents. Many smells give me a horrible headache.

Last year the PTA type group at school gave the teachers beach type bags with a towel, sunscreen, bottle of water, some kind of a snack, and a book. They also encluded a note telling them to have a relaxing summer. It was a big hit.

My gf is a teacher and she gets more soap and shower stuff than she knows what to do with.
