Hi, I am having a laundry-related problem that I am hoping someone can solve! Whenever we put sunscreen on my son (2 1/2), the clothes he is wearing at the time continue to smell of sunscreen even after they are washed. Right now we have Banana Boat spray on and Coppertone lotion, if that even makes a difference. Regular laundry detergent does not seem to be getting it out of his clothes. I usually use liquid Tide and/or Purex. Has anyone else experienced this? How do I get the sunscreen out? I really want to solve this before his entire wardrobe is impacted! TIA!

Try to wash them with a squirt of Dawn dish soap. It used to take th build up out of Nathans cloth diapers.

Good tip! Is this in addition to detergent, or instead of?

Instead of detergent. Dawn is a degreaser and cuts alot of build ups
