My daughter loves books with flaps, especially the smaller flaps. Any suggestions for some good ones? We are getting ready to take some flights and wanted some new books to keep her occupied. Thanks!

I just got the book at a library sale that DD loves! It is called Whose Ears by Jeannette Rowe

My mom gets these "Peek a boo" books from the dollar store that DD loves too.

ETA: This one is cool too. http://www.amazon.com/Colors-Slide-Seek-Chuck-Murphy/dp/0689840101/ref=sr_1_26/104-6044520-8719946?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1179582138&sr=1-26 We don't own it because I keep forgetting to buy it, but they read it at library storytime and DD loved it. We get it out from the library when it is available.

There are some Little People ones around that are bigger books, but have smaller flaps, so each book has like 40 flaps.

I like the LP books. They are about $10 at Target (maybe a little less). They have been a hit with ds for a long time.

Lots of the 'Spot' books (by eric hill) have flaps. Ds loves them!

Our favorite lift-the-flap books are those by Karen Katz. Where Is Baby's Mommy?, Where Is Baby's Belly Button? and Toes, Ears & Nose are our favorites. However, those all have large flaps.

For small flaps, we liked the Little People books.

LP ones are good (although I don't care for the unidentifiable pictures sometimes -- DS loves them). We got 4 at Costco around the holidays for about $7.

dd really likes those too. I've found them at TJ Maxx

for smaller flaps, there are the Baby Einstein books. these are for slightly older kids 18mo & up per the book. They actually have a 'story' to them. Oddly enough, I got them for rediculos prices $4 ea I think at a local discount store. But I also think I've seen them at TJ Maxx or maybe Marshalls?

Hi Lucia,

DS has this book:

http://www.amazon.com/I-See-Monster-Touch-Feel/dp/1581174837/ref=sr_1_55/103-1973420-4307816?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1179745730&sr=1-55

It is called 'I See a Monster', not only does it have flaps but it is a touch and feel book. Under each flap is a different textured monster. He loves it and its a very cute story!

HTH,
