View Full Version : Has anyone seen a smaller version of this shoe rack (for puppets)?

I like the Kaplan wall mounted puppet rack

And I thought that I might be able to use a shoe rack intended for the back of a door --which would let me hang it on the door, for one and two, hopefully be cheaper.

I found this one for half the price (not counting the 20% coupon) from Linens and Things but it would hold 36 puppets. Now while we have too many puppets, we certainly don't have that many.

I want to know if anyone has seen a similar rack but smaller--like for maybe 8-10 pairs instead of 18.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Okay so my continued searching has turned up 2 options --- both from Amazon if anyone else is interested... It might work as I can hang other things from the hooks.

Or I might go with this if it will fit on the shelf in her closet so DD can reach them. I think it would be much safer than the wooden dowel puppet storage --- to me they also say "Come, put an eye out here!"

Beth-

I set up the rack today. I had my DH snip a 2 of the loops off to ease the fit of two really large ---very furry--- puppets. All the others fit great with the spacing. It really looks cute in her closet on the shelf. And dd seems excited to have access to them. She has brough me the elephant puppet 3 times already!
