target balance bike, does it hit the legs?

I'd like to get a balance bike for my sons 4th birthday. The one at target seems like a great price and easy for me to pick up at the store rather than order one. However its bolted down so I can't try it out. I'm worried that the design puts too much bulk under the seat and it will rub against his legs. Anyone have it? Is it comfortable for him to ride?
From doing a search here I think its one of the taller ones so it should fit him in that sense.
