I had promised to report on the Eureka Boss mini I bought after I used it (between a stick and full size vac), but couldn't find the original post, so here's my review. Very lightweight (8 lbs. I believe), handle telescopes, so it fits easily in coat closet downstairs. Just use it for throw rugs and wood floors downstairs. I have a full size Eureka Boss upstairs. It picks larger chunks up great, but I don't hear it picking up all the sand like particles that I hear my full size pick up on those entry way rugs. Would not work for large carpeted area. Cord a bit short, so you have to plug/unplug. Loud. But, it's light, compact, and picks up big chunks, so in my mind it's ok for a downstairs vac.
