Monitors

Please help me find a monitor. I have the fisher price sound and lights and hate it, its all static. I have heard good things about Sony Baby Call, and a friend swears by her Summer monitor, although I dont know the name or model.

I would love one with little to no static, and that will let me sit outiside on the patio and still clearly hear the baby. Does this exist? Please help me with recommendations.

I purchased a Sony Baby Call online from BabiesRUs about 6 weeks ago and WE LOVE IT!!!! It has 2 settings -- on and alert. The "alert" setting is amazing -- we can have the music playing in the nursery and the monitor will come on, after a minute if the monitor hears the same constant sound it goes off and then comes back on when the baby makes a noise. That just amazes me. We also had a Fisher Price and are SOOOO GLAD that we replaced it!

I give this monitor 5 out of 5 stars for sure! Happy monitor hunting!

We have a Summer monitor that we got for DD#2 b/c our FP from DD#1 sucked!
