Birthday gift for 2 year old girl ?

DD will be 2 in a couple of months and I'm not sure what to get her. I'm thinking about a trike, a rocking horse or a special doll. I'll probably buy her one or two big items and some smaller toys. What are some of the "must haves" for a 2yr old girl?

i don't have a girl but my cousin has a 2 yr old girl. we bought her the fisher price snap n style doll. it is cute. they have several girls. we got it at walmart my mom saw them at TRU. sorry i can't be of more help. good luck and happy birthday in a couple of months.

My 20 month old is on our trike every opportunity he gets. He runs to my with his helmet and gets right on. He scoots with his feet. What is have is no frills, actually a hand-me-down #1 received. Both boys have spent countless hours on it. It is a must have in my eyes.
