How cool are these?! Anybody have them?

I like that they're chunky for little grubby paws ;)

My 2 yr old ds received these for his birthday. He doesn't really build anything with them yet but has taken to throwing the round pieces across the room. They are pretty heavy too :)

I think in 6 months or so he will be ready for them. My older DD and I have had a fun time playing with them though. They are perfect for teaching shapes!

We have these. Just to be sure to keep them away from laptops, etc. Our computer had problems ever since a Magneato piece was accidentally placed right next to it (we had to reinstall the operating system several times).

There's also Jumbonetics as well (I like the colors better on these). It's rated for 18+ months.

I got some through the Lilian Vernon big sale (maybe about $7 for a pack or so at the time) They were okay, my son wasn't that into them. You really do need a few packs to be able to build something. Tried them for a day and returned them.

Kaya got a set for her 3rd birthday and they are really cool. But it's a small set, so she can't do a whole lot with them. I was toying with the idea of getting her more of them, so she could do something with them, but I'm thinking of going with magnatiles instead. Not exactly the same, but I think it'll accomplish the same purpose for her. :)
