My dd wears her princess dress almost everyday and it is really beginning to show. I was thinking about getting her another one for her birthday. Because I know that it will get some really good use, I would like to buy a good quality dress, but am not sure where to look. Does anyone have any recommendations?? Thanks!!

I believe there's a BBB coop coming up with My Dress-Up Trunk for Little Adventures dress-up costumes.

What I ended up doing was buy my DD some really nice, dressy, pouffy dresses at TJ Maxx specifically for dress-up. They were about $15 and she loves them. They aren't "dress-up" dresses per se, but they work well for us and she LOVES them.

Just got an email from

www.forgetmenotkids.com

They have some cute princess dresses. They have a pink one on sale for about $18. It's on the second page.

I think those costumes are made by Little Adventures.

I'm not sure they're accepting new members just yet, but I think it's supposed to be soon. Perhaps you could periodically check the Co-op Announcements board.

We just started carrying a new line of dress up costumes from Brave New World. They cater to the preschool market and their costumes are made to stand up to lots of kids playing with them over and over again. Here is the princess one:

Haven't done this yet, but I've been thinking about checking Goodwill for a used flower girl dress or something.
